eSUN eSilk PLA filament is a 3D printing material produced by eSUN. It is a modified version of the standard PLA. Compared to the original formulation, it contains a bright-effect, polyester-like additive that gives the material a silky and shiny finish.

Like its precursor, the environmentally-friendly eSilk PLA is easy to extrude and non-toxic. It features higher mechanical properties and toughness. The polyester additives make for better layer adhesion. Thanks to its low glass transition temperature, it features a low shrinkage rate. The good round shape and the precise, uniform diameter of 1.75mm reduce the risk of jams or clogging.

The high-gloss eSUN gold eSilk PLA filament is ideal for producing objects with a soft-touch, smooth and glossy finish. It preserves almost the same color before and after printing. It can be used to create home decorations, art pieces, fashion accessories, and more. You can print it on any FDM 3D printer without the need for a heated bed. Printed parts come out with a bright and silky gold finish
